1. Purpose
This Policy explains which cookies naitives.com uses, for what purpose, and how to manage consent. It must always match the actual technical configuration of the Website.
2. What cookies are
Small files stored on the user’s device when visiting a website, used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, ensure security, obtain statistics or play external content.
3. Cookies and services currently used by naitives.com
- WordPress own cookies: none for an anonymous visitor. (
wp-settings-*cookies only appear if the user is logged in as an administrator.) - Cookie management panel (Complianz) with Google Consent Mode v2: installed and active. It manages user consent by category and communicates the user’s decision to Google’s services.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 (invisible): active, loads automatically on pages with a contact form. Used by WPForms to protect the form. Considered necessary for form security.
- Google Maps: active, loads automatically on the contact page to show Naitives’ location. Not strictly necessary for the Website to function.
- Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which transmits the user’s IP to Google. Self-hosting is planned.
- YouTube: the embedded video only loads the player if the user clicks «play». When they do, Google LLC may install its own cookies.
- Google Analytics 4: installed and active, but blocked until the user accepts analytics cookies in the consent panel.
- Mailchimp: used for newsletter management; only the cookies it actually installs on the Website, if any, are declared.
4. Necessary cookies
Technical cookies essential to ensure the operation and security of the page, manage forms, prevent fraud or maintain functions requested by the user. They do not require consent. This includes Google reCAPTCHA (anti-spam function) and the consent panel’s own cookies that remember the user’s choice.
5. Cookies and services subject to consent
Analytics cookies and non-essential external content remain disabled until the user gives consent through the panel:
- Google Analytics 4: remains blocked until the user accepts analytics cookies.
- YouTube: the video remains blocked until the user decides to play it.
- Google Maps: currently loads automatically on the contact page, under Naitives’ legitimate interest in showing its location. Naitives may add it to the consent panel to make it subject to prior acceptance.
- Mailchimp: subscribing to the newsletter involves data processing; only the cookies Mailchimp actually installs, if any, will be added to this policy.

The exact names of Google’s cookies belong to third parties; those indicated are the ones publicly documented by Google and should be confirmed in the browser’s developer tools (Application → Cookies).
7. Consent management
The Website provides a cookie management panel (Complianz) with Google Consent Mode v2. The user can accept, reject or configure by category, with unchecked boxes for non-necessary cookies, and can withdraw consent at any time via the «Configure cookies» link.
8. Browser settings
The user may also allow, block or delete cookies from their browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). This does not replace the Website’s own consent panel.
9. Updates
This Policy will be updated when the cookies, providers or applicable regulations change. The date of the last update appears at the beginning of the document.
